How I Got Started

Hey guys! Welcome to my blog!I just wanted to give you guys a debrief of how I got interested in photography and how I got started.

My dad has worked for Nikon Cameras for the past 21 years. We have always had cameras and new technology in our household. I have always been interested in taking photos but never had the interest to learn about how the camera worked. During my freshman year of high school I took a photography class that taught me how to use photoshop. After this class I brushed it off and lost my interest again because I didn’t want to create weird artsy photos that weren't natural.

About a year and a half ago, when COVID first came around, I had a lot of free time on my hands and was able to sit and learn about how the camera works. This interest has led me to many opportunities to take pictures of many friends as well as several paid shoots. In August, I moved to Oklahoma to further my education at Oklahoma Christian University majoring in Business. Since this move, it has become extremely difficult for me to further my photography on top of my education. I would like to be able to work and further my photography in both places. I am in Oregon May-July and December. I am in Oklahoma August-November as well as January-April. I think being in both places will be a great opportunity for me to grow.
